Michael Kirkpatrick
Michael began working in the financial industry in 2000 and today, he helps business owners and high-net-worth families build and protect their wealth with personalized financial strategies. Born and raised in Ottawa, Michael graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in biology and minoring in business.
As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA), Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), Michael has a mastery level of knowledge of wealth management strategies to help his client optimize their wealth and minimize tax.
Michael is a member of Family Enterprise Canada, an organization that helps family businesses succeed, the Capital Angel Network, a group of angel investors in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, the Ottawa Estate Planning Council and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys CrossFit, tennis, and reading books by Ken Follet, Tony Robbins, Malcom Gladwell, John Grisham and Nassim Taleb. Michael lives in Stittsville with his three daughters Heidi, Martina and Farrah.
